It’s Never Too Late

After suffering a relapse of Multiple Sclerosis, I lost my career was homebound for nearly a year. This is when I decided to change the trajectory of my life and I returned to school to complete my education at the age of 40. I started at Seattle Central Community College and transferred to UW. Now at 45, I’m graduating summa cum laude and will be back at UW in the fall as a Double Dawg to complete a Phd in Sociocultural Anthropology specializing in Medical Anthropology. No matter what anyone tells you, it’s never too late to change your path and pursue your dreams!
