Our lobby  is open 9:00-4:30, Monday-Friday. We also offer virtual appointments.

At the Career & Internship Center, we aim to support the career development needs of University of Washington student veterans, through direct service and engagement at the Center with our events, programs, resources and career coaches; and also through referrals and facilitated connections to nuanced and tailored resources in the local and national community designed to support military veterans in navigating their post-service employment path.

We know that the transition from military to civilian life is unique and varied, and can be full of uncertainty and reflection, and sometimes marked by a difficult or disheartening lack of understanding on the part of civilian employers as to how a military background can translate readily into many workplace environments. We stand with you, ready to support you in the translating of skills, leveraging of your combined service and education expertise, and your ultimate pursuit and securing of a satisfying ‘next step’ after the UW.
