Get as Much Experience as Possible
Make sure you get as much experience as you can in the field you want to go into. Most of my interviews asked about things I went through in elementary classrooms, so having multiple years of volunteering significantly helped. I also recommend knowing exactly the type of teacher you want to be because I was often asked about my values!
