Attending UW can feel overwhelming at first, especially if you are first-generation student, but the entire community is so welcoming. Meet you professors and make a connection with them as they will be invaluable for your future. Join organizations and volunteer to meet new people and opportunities. In general, never give up and always be open to the vast possibilities that UW provides.
