Go For It
If there is something that you want to do, go for it. Apply for that opportunity, join that club, show up to that event, and hang out with those friends. It might be a lot of work, but taking part in the opportunities you most want to experience will pay dividends. It was hard to apply for international internships, study abroad programs, and graduate schools, but these were all things I wanted to do. Looking back on it, I am so glad I decided to go for these opportunities because then I was able to intern and study abroad and now, go to graduate school.
