Communication is Key
As part of a large major with a lot of different classes to choose from, it’s hard to nurture relationships with peers that constantly change which causes a lot of social anxiety in classes. Still, it’s important to speak up. Don’t be afraid to speak up and ask plenty of questions in classes, talk to your neighbors and professors after lectures, and interact with other faculty in the department whenever you get the chance.
