Never Be Afraid of a New Experience

Honestly, college is not just about the degree, what’s more important is how you spend your time at UW. The greatest thing about UW is the diversity of interests you can find on campus, which means you’ll probably find a new job, career, or hobby, just by talking to people, regardless of how niche it is. If you find a professor with interesting lectures, try to talk or email them on their research; if you go to a career fair and find interesting companies or recruiters, reach out to them too; If you find a club or RSO that you want to learn more about, go to their meetings. Never be afraid to try something you find interesting. You miss every shot you don’t take.
