- Grad Students
We are honored and thrilled that you have landed at the Career Center’s website. Supporting students’ professional success truly takes a collective effort and faculty members are critical partners in this endeavor. We know that students respect you, listen to you, and value your advice. Our hope is that partnering together to more clearly evidence the relationship among majors, skills, and careers will help students be even more engaged in the classroom and passionate about their studies, as well as more successful during the job search and productive in their future workplaces. Wouldn’t it be great if students in all majors could stop worrying about “what can I do with this major?” and instead fully apply themselves academically as they envision a productive future ahead?!
Above you’ll find links to 3 pages that were designed with faculty in mind. These pages are in their infancy and will evolve over the next couple of years, as we partner with the provost’s office on the Provost Report Series. We invite your input! Please email Associate Director Briana Randall if you have questions, if you know of other resources we should add to the following pages, or if you’ve successfully helped support students’ professional development and would be willing to share tips and strategies with other faculty.
Thank you for your existing and future contributions to helping students find success after they leave UW.
