Handshake for Advisers and Faculty Request Form

Requesting adviser access on Handshake will create a student account for you – this is intentional! In order to best assist students, your experience should mirror exactly the experience of a student as they navigate through the platform.

For this reason, when you first log into your Adviser account, you will be prompted to fill out your ‘Career Interests’ exactly as a student would be prompted to complete. Once completed (or if you choose to skip this step) feel free to begin navigating through the database as a UW student would!

Please note: This account allows you to VIEW jobs and internships as a job seeker. If you also wish to post on-campus jobs for your UW department, please respond 'yes' to this option in the below webform.
