Employer View: Talk to People About What They Do

So at UVA, I wasn't so career-focused. All of these courses in the catalog looked wonderful to me, within the liberal arts spectrum and so I took psychology courses and Spanish and English literature and acting and acting and directing. And I thoroughly enjoyed my academic exploration there and I think that has served me well. I have been unafraid to try new things and yeah, that's one takeaway from my time at UVA. I have lots of other good memories and associations. I was on the track team, I was a high jumper and so that was a wonderful experience in many ways to compete at that level and to be part of a team and that was a great experience, and also just the friends I made. I mean, I loved in a house with many roommates and some of them were actually on other sports teams too and from other states outside Virgina, like me. I had joined a sorority for awhile too, so I really, I really got a lot out of the four years there. I tried many things, including track, the sorority, living in a house with a bunch of friends, and it's a beautiful college town. I have a lot of great memories.
