Take advantage of tools like LinkedIn Learning, Google Certifications, and other online professional certificate programs, because when I’ve completed the certification courses and added them to my LinkedIn profile/resume, I have received more job offers and have connected with more recruiters on LinkedIn. It’s also important to maintain and update your LinkedIn profile, because hiring managers and recruiters really do check. I know this because I am currently a Recruitment Coordinator at a tech company. My other tip is to seek mentors or build a community that can support your academic/career interests.
