Pick Your Battles
Learning a new culture, new language, and a new system can be challenging; trying to fit in, and learning. Choose your battles wisely as you face challenges, ask questions, many of them, and take full advantage of the resources provided by the University. Ask one question from several different people, each will have different answers which will allow you to come to the best conclusion, yours. And finally, build your network and connect with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
