Harness Your Community
My advice is to utilize the people around you. There are so many accomplished individuals within the UW community that can offer help on coursework, applying to internships and full-time jobs, and just generally making the most out of your time at the UW. In my experience, everyone is happy to help you take the next step in whatever it is you are working towards. Being in college can feel daunting and overwhelming at times, so leaning on others can be just the ticket to get through the inevitable rough patches. Make sure and pay it forward yourself when someone asks you for help, too!
