Description
The School of STEM at University of Washington Bothell is seeking to hire a part-time Electrical Engineering Lab Tech to support an Electrical Engineering teaching lab. This position will support both lower and upper division Electrical Engineering courses, as well as operate and maintain instrumentation used in classes
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist students with projects and equipment check-out during lab hours
- Maintain and organize lab stock
- Create lab kits
- Answer questions students may have on lab assignments
- Other projects as needed
- Hours per week: 1–19.5 (to be determined)
- Work Period – March 27, 2024 – June 15, 2024
- Pay Rate $19.97/hr
Qualifications
- Current UW Bothell EE or CE students who successfully completed BEE 233 or its equivalent.
- Enrolled in 6 or more undergraduate credits for the quarter
- Contribute professionally and respectfully to our diverse and inclusive work environment
- Organizational skills
- Attentive to faculty requirements and requests
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ethical / trustworthy
- Ability to take instruction
- Ability to communicate with students and faculty in a professional manner
- Excellent knowledge of EE course
