Experience: College graduate with accounting degree or will graduate prior to starting. Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and be sitting for the CPA exam, or be eligible to sit upon graduation. Accounting majors preferred. Responsibilities: New staff at RH2 will work in both the tax and audit fields for their first few years at the firm, allowing them to experience both sides and establish a solid background. Beginning within their first month on the job, new hires will work under the supervision of seniors, managers, and even partners on audit, business consulting and tax engagements. New hires will develop technical skills in audit, accounting, and taxation and obtain a working knowledge of firm software and technology resources while developing successful client relationships. New hires are also encouraged to work toward passing the CPA exam and obtaining certification.
Benefits: Staff Accountants are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and long & short term disability insurance the first day of the month following their start date. Employees are able to pay for health insurance for health insurance for eligible family members. In addition, staff accountants are eligible for a profit sharing plan of 3% of annual salary the first day of the month following three full months of service. Also, eligible to participate in the company 401(k) plan the first day of the month following three full months of service.
Looking for CPA eligible staff to start in 2025 or 2026. Start dates are flexible based upon applicant’s graduation date. Please identify your preferred start date on your cover letter (January/July).
