Infoblox is seeking a Project Management Intern in Tacoma, WA to join our Business Operations department. In this hybrid role, the ideal intern will primarily work with the highly collaborative Program Management team to support cross-functional strategic programs. In this role, there will be significant exposure to many departments at Infoblox and this intern will have the opportunity to learn what we do and how we make it happen by understanding the inner workings of the organization. They will also gain exposure to the ways strategic initiatives guide a successful, industry-leading organization. The intern will receive mentoring to hone technical and soft skills. Weekly one-on-one sessions will be scheduled with leadership, in which the intern will illustrate successful completion of deliverables, express roadblocks that prohibit success, and receive carefully curated guidance on next steps and areas of improvement.

What You’ll Do:
- Support strategic projects/programs under the guidance of a Program Manager
- Attend cross-functional core team and individual workstream meetings
- Document and communicate risks, issues, schedule revisions, scope changes, and dependencies to appropriate stakeholders
- Develop reports to drive efficiency and effectiveness for managing projects/programs
- Analyze project/program plans for potential gaps and identify solutions to keep core team members informed of dependencies/next steps
- Compile and build materials to support project/program meetings
- Plan and organize project/program agendas for efficient and effective use of time
- Work with key leaders to assist in the enhancement of processes/tools that support the goal of maturing the project or program management practices of the Program Management organization
- Schedule meetings with appropriate groups to ensure projects/programs and/or workstreams are moving forward
- Support program management by assessing needs and implementing short- and long-term solutions
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience leading entrepreneurial efforts, outreach within organizations and/or project management experience through class projects, clubs or internships
- Analytical and solution-oriented background, with great people skills and structured problem-solving capabilities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think and work independently and as a team player within a professional setting
- Flexibility to work within a multiple disciplinary team and receive dynamic on-the-job training
- Highly organized; able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
- Able to develop presentations to guide conversations and discussions
- Experience with Smartsheet or other project management software solutions; Smartsheet Reports, Dashboards, WorkApps, or DataShuttle is a plus
Education:
- Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, or related field
While we may work remotely, collaboration and teamwork is built into all we do. This is a paid, full-time 40-hours per week internship that could lead to a permanent full-time position post-graduation.
