Established management consulting firm specializing in energy efficiency, market transformation, and related fields seeking a motivated, self-driven Program Specialist with technical/energy writing and research experience to join our team.
Job Purpose: Produce energy-code related research materials, including literature reviews, manuscripts, and presentations, as well as RCx energy assessments, solar assessments, program development and management, sustainability planning.
Duties:
- Specialize in familiarity with the Illinois Energy Code.
- Develop training materials relevant to the Illinois energy codes, including webinars, workshops, training modules, and publications.
- Call Center support and development of FAQs from questions and answers relevant to the energy codes program.
- Subject matter expert presenter on the Illinois energy codes.
- Facilitate group discussions with diverse stakeholders, including design professionals and community representatives.
Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science /Engineering/Architecture or relevant discipline , excellent computer skills, proven skills in effectively using PowerPoint and Editing Adobe PDF files, working knowledge of Google Analytics, Business Writing and Editing, Copywriting Skills, Presentation Skills, Product Knowledge, Market Knowledge, Deadline-Oriented, Communication Processes, Layout Skills, Creative Services, Attention to Detail, Financial Skills Location: Hybrid — mostly working remotely — office in Chicago — Loop (walk to Metra and CTA)
