Briana Randall (She/Her)

Executive Director

I started at the Career & Internship Center as a counselor in 2004.  Over the 15 years that followed, I spent periods of time coordinating our grad student programs, managing our front desk and student employee teams, supporting the employer relations team, leading our data and assessment initiatives, and directing our multi-faceted internship operations.  In 2019, I was hired as the center’s Executive Director.  In this role, my big picture vision is that all UW students will be able to 1) identify the skills employers want, 2) gain experience to enhance their skills, 3) articulate their skills and experiences to potential employers, and 4) successfully take a good-fit next step.  Undoubtedly, this is a big undertaking!  Smaller goals in service to my larger vision include supporting our dynamic staff, fostering cross-campus collaborations, humbly seeking feedback, pushing myself to address problems creatively, and using data to inform decision-making.  If you have ideas about how we can best support students, don’t hesitate to reach out.
