CAMP ANDY is a 7-week clinical internship is designed for graduate and undergraduate students with an interest in medicine, psychology, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, nursing, education, public health, and related fields.
The summer treatment program provides an incredible opportunity to learn evidence-based practices hands on, working directly with children with developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and related neurodevelopmental profiles.
The internship includes 2 weeks of intensive training ranging from didactic sessions to thorough practice of program components. Essential topics span etiology of neurodevelopmental disabilities, applied behavior analysis, pivotal response treatment, data-based outcome monitoring, and social skills training. A 5-week intervention program follows, where you will work in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team including consulting physicians, licensed psychologists, board certified behavior analysts, and other professionals.
