Career panel on teaching sciences at community college

Did you know that you can teach classes at community colleges without a PhD? In most cases, only as Masters’ degree is required. It can be a very rewarding career which makes a transformative impact on the lives of students who do not always have access to the same educational opportunities we enjoy here at UW. Join three local community college social science instructors– from Shoreline Community College, Seattle Central College, and Edmonds College–to hear firsthand about their journeys into this career and gather insights about this sector of education occupations here in Washington.

When: Friday, April 12, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Where: Denny Hall 313
