The Wy’east Medicine Pathway is a FREE 10-month post-baccalaureate health education Pathway for AI/AN learners who are passionate about becoming physicians. We recruit nationwide and our scholars receive a monthly stipend throughout the 10-month Pathway.
- The Wy’east Pathway prepares learners for the rigors of medical school and provides cultural support and mentorship.
- Upon entry to Wy’east, scholars are conditionally accepted to their admitting medical school; either the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) School of Medicine or the Washington State University (WSU) Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine.
- Final acceptance is awarded upon satisfactory completion of the Pathway and meeting all final matriculation requirements of the admitting medical school.
- The application for Wy’east opens on April 1, 2024.
