OVERVIEW OF ROLE

Integrate Autism Employment Advisors is seeking an experienced career advisor with a deep understanding of autistic/neurodivergent individuals to join our team. Primary responsibilities of this position are to share information and best practices with candidates in professional settings to support and improve their performance and/or comfort in their job placement through Integrate. The Candidate Success Advisor will be responsible for accurately documenting their work and providing sufficient information and reports to internal and external stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (after training and onboarding):
Candidate Success

  • Provide individualized career coaching sessions tailored to the unique strengths, challenges, and goals of candidates. Offer support in resume building, interview preparation, and workplace navigation.
  • Recognize and leverage the strengths and abilities of the candidates, helping them to understand and showcase their skills effectively.
  • Advocate for workplace accommodations and assist candidates in communicating their needs to employers, fostering an inclusive work environment conducive to their success.
  • Facilitate workplace communication, time management, organization and prioritization, executive functioning, work-life balance, and other skills essential for professional success with candidates.
  • Stay informed about the latest research, trends, and best practices in neurodiversity, career development, and inclusive employment practices.
  • Distribute and collect candidate success surveys and provide accurate and timely data/feedback to Director of Recruiting and company lead.
  • Review HireVue on-demand interviews recorded by candidates.
  • Take part in manager check-in calls and provide advice on how to support candidates.
  • Participate in candidate interviews for both job placements and employer connect program.

Employer Connect Candidate Success

  • Facilitate and oversee candidate success throughout the duration of Integrate’s Employer Connect Program.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates for the entirety of the program.
  • Ensure that the candidate communication plan is followed accordingly.
  • Monitor progress and address any issues or challenges that arise during the program.
  • Provide day of session support to ensure all candidates have the most accurate information.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, program activities, and outcomes using designated tracking systems.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure smooth program operations and candidate satisfaction.
  • Prepare company session resume packages.
  • Communicate agenda and calendar invitations to all candidates participating in each session.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 1-2 years previous experience in career coaching, advising or related field, preferably with a focus on supporting neurodivergent individuals.
  • Demonstrated understanding of neurodiversity, including the strengths and challenges associated with neurodivergence.
  • Certification in coaching or related field is a plus.
  • Possesses the ability to work independently and successfully in a small operation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Ability to interact professionally with external stakeholders and candidates.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to perform complex tasks with limited supervision.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office suite of products, CRM knowledge helpful.

Full-time position

Salary range: $50,000-$65,000 per annum depending on experience

Location: Remote. Hours are 9am-5pm ET.
