EarthLab summer internships offer a robust, cohort-based experience for University of Washington undergraduate students. Undergraduate students enrolled in a degree-granting program at a UW campus (Bothell, Seattle, or Tacoma) as of Spring Quarter 2024 from a variety of disciplines are encouraged to apply. Timeline for 2024 Summer Internships
February 14 Virtual Information Session (1 hr) at 1:00 p.m. RSVP Here.
February 27 Virtual Information Session (1 hr) at 11:00 a.m. RSVP Here.
March 1 Applications due by 5 p.m.
March 15 Applicants will be notified whether they are invited to interview for the internship positions.
Mid – Late March Interviews will be scheduled.
Mid April Candidates will be notified of selection.
June 12 Kick-off Orientation (1 hour on Zoom).
June 17 – August 16 9-week internship period, including weekly cohort meetings every Tuesday from 9 am – 1 pm.
August 16 Program celebration and student presentations.
