Now Accepting PAID participants for Participatory Research!

The purpose of the ParticipateCISD study is to build community and generate recommendations for researchers to better incorporate more complexity and nuance of experience within research so people with more complex identities can be better reflected in research. This will be achieved through a series of discussions between January 21st and February 13th, with 4 weekly meetings (1 hour each), and a final survey in March.

This study focuses on a group of people who are frequently referred to as being “multiply marginalized”. This study, however, uses a new term that centers lived experience over marginalization of identity for people who have more nuanced positionalities and identities. This term is: Compounding Intersectional Experiences (CIE).

If you’re interested in hearing more about this work, would like to participate in discussions, or be on this study’s Advisory Board, visit ParticipateCISD.com or check us out on Instagram @ParticipateCISD. There are a few ways to engage, and we encourage all to apply! See attached flyer for more details.
