PrIMES mission is to increase diversity in medical school education.The PrIMES Mentorship is a national program for underrepresented premed students supported by Weill Cornell Medicine.
PrIMES Mentees select college freshmen and sophomores from underrepresented backgrounds who aspire to become doctors. If you dream of going to medical school and becoming a doctor, apply to be a Mentee!
The program aims to help URiM premed Mentees overcome unique barriers and challenges to applying and matriculating into medical school by pairing them with current medical students or resident physicians as Mentors.
They are currently recruiting Mentees & Mentors for the 2023-2024 nation-wide virtual Cohort and are working to increase awareness about this free opportunity. Applications due September 30th!
