My name is Hannah Downing and I am the Recruiting and Selection Manager at Govern For America. I am reaching out because we have some exciting news! We have decided to extend the final deadline to apply to be a 2023 Govern For America Fellow to Friday, December 16th!
The Govern For America Fellowship is a two-year program that connects graduating students from diverse backgrounds to full-time, paid government jobs and supports them to build the necessary skills to lead in government. GFA bridges the gap between state governments and emerging leaders to fill skill gaps, improve government operations, drive more equitable policy outcomes, and ignite a lifetime of public sector leadership.
At GFA, We:
- Recruit recent graduates from diverse backgrounds into high-impact roles in government agencies
- Train Fellows in effective, equitable, and innovative approaches to government service
- Provide access to a community of GFA alumni and government leaders who provide ongoing mentorship to amplify Fellow impact
Applicants to the 2023 Cohort will be considered for jobs in varying government agencies from education to infrastructure in the following states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New York, and Tennessee.
This is an excellent opportunity for current seniors and recent graduates who are looking to jumpstart their career in the public sector! Applicants will be considered for full-time jobs starting in July 2023.
