Event: Women Making Waves in the Startup World

You’re invited to a special Buerk Center Women’s Breakfast and Panel Discussion to celebrate female founders, venture capitalists, and leaders around the world for Women’s Entrepreneurship Day [womenseday.org], November 18—Rising Tide: Women Making Waves in the Startup World.

Entrepreneurship is a mindset, a way of looking at problems and developing unique solutions. Through entrepreneurship, women across the Pacific Northwest are creating impact and change in their communities. Together, we work to lift up the next generation of women leaders to make us all stronger—“a rising tide lifts all boats.”

Joining students for breakfast will be dynamic women leaders from a multitude of industries, all with their own stories to share. In addition, we’ve invited six alumnae from the UW and Buerk Center to share their journeys in entrepreneurship through a robust panel discussion.
