Find a student club that connects with your career interests

Student clubs are one of the most valuable—and often underrated—resources UW students have to prepare for a career. UW has over 1000 Registered Student Organizations (RSOs), many of which align with specific academic and career fields. Besides being a fun way to learn new things and meet new friends outside of class, getting involved with an RSO offers excellent career-prep benefits, including:

  • Building a network of peers with similar professional interests.
  • Gaining leadership, teambuilding, event planning, and marketing experience that you can put on your resume and talk about in job interviews.
  • Opportunities to attend events and conferences with professionals in your field.
  • An inside track to connect with alumni working in your field.

All RSOs are open to all students, and you can usually just show up to a meeting to check one out.  You can find all the RSOs currently registered, along with their contact info, in the RSO Directory or you can stop by the Student Activities Office in HUB 232 for more info.

Find a club now, and you’ll improve your chances of finding a job later!
