Research Exposed! seminar this winter

The Undergraduate Research Program, in partnership with the Population Health Initiative,  will be offering their Research Exposed! seminar this winter.  (GEN ST 391 D, SLN 15152). Research Exposed offers undergraduates an opportunity to learn about current, exciting population health-related research in a wide variety of disciplines and departments. Through presentations by UW faculty, Research Exposed offers information on the process of discovery, how faculty design research projects, how inquiry is structured in the different disciplines, and how students can become involved in the knowledge-making process.

This 1-credit course is especially relevant for students who are new to UW, interested in learning more about population health, and are looking for ways to build community and engage in experiential learning outside of the classroom.
