Community Engagement and Leadership Education (CELE) Center:

We are seeking a community-minded undergraduate student to join our team as the Community-Engaged Courses (CEC) Communications Assistant.

The Community-Engaged Courses (CEC) Communications Assistant is an hourly role who will work in close cooperation with CEC staff in the CELE Center to provide support on key components of the center’s Community-Engaged Courses program and will support digital communications through email, web contact forms, and CELE social media channels. The CEC Communications Assistant will contribute to the University of Washington’s commitment to community engagement through supporting both community organizations and undergraduate students in the community-engaged learning process.

Communication and Digital Organizing Specialist

The UW Q Center seeks an attentive undergraduate student to fill the Communication and Digital Organizing Specialist role on our team. This position will lead the Q Center’s communication endeavors and provide general oversight for all Q Center social media. The Communication and Digital Organizing Specialist will play a key part in facilitating/supporting community-sustaining initiatives through the development of short-term promotional plans, misc. media, and community-centered storytelling. In this role, there will be opportunities to develop peer facilitation skills, public relations experience, and coordinate on- and off-campus.

 

Student Engagement Coordinator

The UW Q Center seeks a dynamic undergraduate student to fill the Student Engagement Coordinator role on our team. This position will lead Q Center outreach efforts and provide oversight on internal sharing systems. The Student Engagement Coordinator will play a key part in facilitating community-sustaining initiatives by supporting staple and emergent social, educational, and wellness programs. There is also an opportunity to develop editorial skills, gain facilitation and project management experience, and coordinate programs & events–both in person and virtually.
