Transitioning from a Student to a Working Professional
As a first generation student who had dealt with managing two part-time jobs and attending UW full-time, internship experience wasn’t always at the top of my mind but rather managing my finances and passing. However, despite not having internship experience, I learned that the skills in my everyday life and part-time jobs helped me get the full-time career in a new city. It’s all about asking questions, wanting to learn, and being able to convey and communicate between different industry languages.
