One Step and One Question at a Time
Going to career fairs can be daunting, but take that first step towards your next opportunity! Doing your research on the employers/openings that interest you is paramount. Come prepared with an elevator pitch, a few questions for your top 3 employers, and view your interactions as friendly conversations. Employers want to get to know you and not just what’s on your resume (that you should have printed copies of); think of it as a give and take of information and use your questions to help you! Follow your curiosity with your questions and you might be the most interesting applicant of the day – remember interviews are a 2 way street!
