Mokhtar is a Cyber Threat Intelligence Operations Chief at Booz Allen Hamilton. His team is responsible for investigating virtually everything on the internet from Twitter and press releases to the dark web. They then analyze the intel to decide what is and what isn’t a threat to their clients’ security.

>> My name is Materrel Hindi [assumed spelling] and I'm a cyber threat intelligence operations chief. So, every day we're constantly taking a look at basically everything on the internet. Everything from dark web to things like Twitter, the news, any kind of press releases, security researchers, the whole nine. Just to try to get a scrape of what's happening every day. So, it's in the name, cyber threat intelligence. So, basically what we're doing is we're trying to identify any threats to the client's threat landscape/environment. Any kind of threat would have a negative impact on their infrastructure, their networks. And basically in identifying those things we want to provide an actionable report to the client to make them aware of possible impacts. Or, basically, if it's an incident, if it's a cyber incident, we want to let them know why it's relevant to them. So, a lot of actionable timely and accurate information drives what we do every day.
