It’s Never Too Late

I completed my bachelor’s degree at 51 and I can say that my life experience was invaluable to being able to both organize my time and bring the focus I needed to get good grades. Yes, higher ed is set up for the wide-eyed 18 year-old, but that just meant I had an advantage in that I wasn’t distracted by all the adulting necessary to perform well. With that taken care of and the typical student distractions nailed down, I could focus, laser-like on doing my work. Older students have an advantage that way, so don’t be afraid to exploit it!
