Find Friends Outside of Your Class

It is natural to make most of your friends from the classes in your major. The problem is that during graduate school application time, the conversations might center around the stress of applying. Ranting can be therapeutic, but it can also be draining and hearing other people’s worries can even possibly create new ones for you. During this time, reconnect with old friends or find new friends outside of your major so you can talk about different things. It’s not that you are cutting off your friends from your class; rather, you are just adding variety in friendships and conversations.
