If you’re into something, just go for it

People always say that college is the best time to take risks, but often it can seem like the stakes are just too high to stray from our plans, especially in a competitive environment like UW. But an underrated aspect of college is that there are so many sources of support and opportunities to try new things, like new hobbies, fields, or communities. It’s really the only time that you can get significant experience in fields that are hard to break into, and meet so many different people without having to really go out of your way.
