Exploring your Interests and Building Skills

Take every chance you can to explore new interests, even the ones you do not imagine yourself pursuing. I never thought I would enjoy working in a molecular lab, yet it quickly became one of my favorite experiences and opened so many doors for me. That unexpected path has now influenced how I hope to study polar bear health during my MSc. Every opportunity I’ve done has not only built my skills but also helped me discover more about who I am and the kind of research that excites me.
