Any experience is good experience

You are not “behind” because you switched your major or because you didn’t know what you wanted to do. Taking classes that were seemingly irrelevant helped you discern your future studies. Those “random” courses that you took to fulfill general education requirements can also help provide perspective that you will carry with you to your future job, relationships, family, service, activities, and day to day interactions. You will learn something and grow in a new way from every single class, internship, and activity you pursue. What you choose to make of it can help you. Any experience is good experience.
