Research Opportunities Can Help You Find Your Future

If you’re interested in graduate school or just interested in a particular field, I think one of the most important things you can do with your time as an undergrad is to involve yourself with research. Seek research opportunities wherever you can find them! Working in a lab, making connections within your field, and developing your own research ideas will put you on the path to success. I found what I wanted to do after my undergrad from working in a research lab on campus. Worry less about your grades! While the classes you take still matter, most often programs will weigh your research experience and motivation for your field over a grade you received in that one organic chemistry course.
