The Women’s Law Caucus is an intersectional feminist organization dedicated to dismantling the systems
of power which continue to oppress women in their legal education, their practice of the law, and their
contacts with the legal system. The mission of the Caucus is the eradication of patriarchy in the law and
the removal of gendered barriers to the legal profession. Because the Caucus believes that sexism, racism,
heteronormativity, classism, ableism, and transphobia are not incidental blights on the law, but rather
foundational to the American legal structure itself, the Caucus understands that committed intersectional
feminist students can support and empower those who study the law in order to change it for the better.
