Net Impact is a leading non-profit that empowers a new generation to use their careers to drive transformational changing in the workplace and the world. At the heart of this community are over 50,000 student and professional leaders from over 300 volunteer-led chapters across the globe working for a sustainable future.
Foster Net Impact, a Gold Chapter, offers students unique access Seattle’s change leaders in top organizations like Starbucks, Microsoft, Virginia Mason and Amazon, while also helping connect with local non-profits like PATH, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and Social Venture Partners. Net Impact Foster also works internally with the University of Washington administration and partners in the Evans School of Public Affairs, the College of the Environment, and the College of Engineering to create opportunities on campus for our members to grow and learn.
To serve Foster students by connecting them to careers in social and environmental sustainability and by providing the resources to build the skills and knowledge to address related business.
- Inspire every Foster student to find his or her own connection to the Net Impact mission through club collaborations.
- Create opportunities for club members to make meaningful connections to thought and business leaders in Seattle.
- Host one feature event and two support events per quarter
• Open borders with the Office of Sustainability, College of Environment, Evans School and more to increase Foster’s visibility and club member’s learning opportunities.
