About The Role
As an intern, you will work closely with the product team – peer designers, marketing specialists, and engineers — from initial concept and strategy through the execution of design and ultimately to product releases.
This opportunity will give you the experience of designing in the real world – in an agile working environment, and envision the future of renting homes.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a passionate student to join our design team! The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented as well as a self-starter.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor or master degree in Interaction/UX Design, HCI, or related field
- Experienced in using AI for designing
- Ability to brainstorm and collaborate with other design and product development partners
- Excellent communication skills – be able to clearly articulate design decisions
- Possess a strong, user-centered design process and advocates for our users
- Versed in a variety of UX research and design methodologies – survey, interview, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, etc.
- Familiar with design and prototyping tools like Sketch, InVision, Figma, etc.
- Has experience in executing design according to design system and content guideline
- Has experience in multi-platform design and is familiar with responsive design
- Thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- Must include a link to your online portfolio or samples of your work
- Can work at least 15 hours per week and continuously for at least three months
Responsibilities
- Support the product design team throughout the design process
- Deliver design projects on time
- Update design system to keep it in sync with the product version
- Review design work and give valuable feedback
- Think at a high level about product strategy and vision
- Join work sessions to collaborate with the development team and the marketing team for better product implementation
