The Role
WikiHow is proud to partner on this role with Eastridge Workforce Solutions, an Employee Owned Company. You will write and revise how-to content while learning from wikiHow’s high-caliber content management team. This remote, paid position with basic benefits is for a full-time 40-hour work week during regular business hours (Pacific time).
We have openings for two different writing roles:
- lifestyle writers focused on topics like astrology, relationships, home maintenance, fitness, mental health, finance, pets, careers, and social topics but with a willingness to write about an even wider array of instructional topics and trends
- technology writers focused on topics like emerging tech, social platforms, software instructions, tech troubleshooting, hardware descriptions, and upgrades
What You’ll Do
- Produce empathetic and friendly SEO-optimized content in a fast-paced environment
- Work on a wide range of how-to topics in a variety of formats
- Research articles to provide the best support and information for billions of readers
- Participate in other content-related projects and initiatives as needed
What You’ll Bring
- A college degree, preferably in a writing-intensive field
- Experience researching, writing, editing, and evaluating content
- Ability to write in a clear, engaging, and friendly tone across a variety of topics
- Motivation and drive to work independently
- Eagerness for constructive feedback and collaboration
- Experience writing SEO content
- A passion for helping people!
Salary and Other Compensation:
Salary: The hourly rate for this position is between $18-22 per hour. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include location, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
