Rubenstein Pharmacy at Hall Health is looking for two outstanding Part-Time Pharmacist Intern-Students to join our Pharmacy team. These individuals will assist the Pharmacist in professional activities and perform assigned tasks and other pharmacy related functions.
Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Perform certified order entry of medication orders into the ambulatory pharmacy computer system.
• Perform filling of prescriptions.
• Assist on-line processing of prescription orders.
• Assist patients with new prescriptions and refills.
• Determination of payment mode.
• Perform medication counselling.
• Perform charging and billing functions.
• Investigate clinical inquiries requiring a Pharmacist’s professional judgment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Competitive candidates will be able to effectively triage and communicate with patients, have the ability to perform computer entry of prescriptions and charge/credit data. Inherent to success in this position is organizational skills and use of professional judgment.

REQUIREMENTS
Current 1st-Year or 2nd-Year Pharmacy Student at the University of Washington.
Must successfully pass the Washington state background check.
Preferred
Six months of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant, Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist Intern
Legal Requirement: Washington State registration as a Pharmacist Intern (Dept. of Health)
