The PRIME Lab of the University of Washington Department of Family Medicine is looking to hire a student research assistant (RA) to help with multiple projects. The research portfolio includes studies in which the RA will work remotely and directly with clinical research participants. This position will focus on working directly in a clinical setting with recruiting and enrolling research study participants.

Studies include research on:
- Clinical trial on antibiotic use –
- Improving substance use and mental health care in primary care settings
- Clinical trial on pain management models
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Working in a clinical environment recruiting study participants
- Data entry, qualitative coding, and data synthesis
- Enrollment of participants into studies
- Participant communication and compensation tracking
- General research study support
- Assisting the team in formal literature review and preparation study background
Requirements
- Ability to work in a clinical setting
- Desire to work directly with patients/study participants
- Strong interpersonal skills and interest in working with diverse study populations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
Desired Qualifications
- Some research experience preferred
- Interest in clinical research
- Familiar with the principals of HIPAA and Good Clinical Practice
- Studying public health, social sciences, social work, biology, microbiology or similar majors
- Experience using REDCap software
Additional information:
- Our preferred candidate will be available to work between 12-20 hours per week.
- Research studies may require availability to work on weekends.
Compensation
$21/hour
