POSITION DUTIES:
Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to drive the design and development of technology and/or process solutions. Leveraging leading process and technology expertise to propose appropriate solution options. Translating business requirements into technology solutions. Verifying technical designs satisfy functional requirements. Performing application configuration activities in support of solution delivery initiatives. Performing solution testing efforts by developing test plans, preparing test environments, coordinating the test execution, and validating test results. Creating detailed system design and architecture and end-user documentation to support new system implementation efforts. Delivering training and performing knowledge transfer to team members as required. Playing a key role in project initiation efforts by defining project scope and supporting the development of work plans, estimates, and timelines. Responsible for production support including leveraging deep system and process expertise in analyzing and troubleshooting complex system/user issues to drive resolution and determine root cause. Effectively coordinating and communicating issues resolution with end-users. Correlating related production issues and assessing trends to identify broader improvement opportunities and extending technology support internationally to support global business operations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in solution design, testing and implementation. Of the required experience, 5 years of experience must be in each of the following: the utilization of system development methodologies throughout the full project lifecycle; effective testing practices and methodologies; utilizing ad hoc query tools (TOAD or SQL Plus) to troubleshoot system issues; Functional business/process experience in Oracle Order Management; solution design, testing and implementation experience; application and system configuration experience in Oracle Order Management; production support, system maintenance, upgrades and enhancement delivery experience; and end user support and documentation experience.
