About the Team:
The Business Development team at SOLE is responsible for acquiring strategic business partnerships and serving the underserved by getting the SOLE Paycard into the hands of the unbanked workforce. You will be an integral part of a start-up culture company in a budding growth industry with untapped potential. At SOLE, you will have the opportunity to create your own paycheck as a direct result of the value you create for the company. With every deal you close, you foster financial inclusion by bringing a product that affords dignity and value to an underserved and overworked demographic.
About the Position:
As a Business Development Manager, you will prospect and work directly with HR professionals in your protected verticals to achieve long-term business partnerships. You will drive new business by working leads from referrals, prospects and Salesforce. With each lead, you will serve as an expert consultant and advocate as you work to close the deal, whether that means emailing your client an article highlighting a change in paycard legislation in their state or sending a handwritten thank-you card. You’ll teach your customers the value of the paycard from both a business and an employee perspective while solidifying strong, long-term partnerships. You’ll be accountable for proactively calling leads on a daily basis and meeting quarterly individual and team goals. Over time, you will harvest your own “business within a business” with a host of loyal clients.
You are a self-starter with strong organizational skills, enthusiasm and high energy. You’re a people person who adapts well to change. You are able to stay calm and collected under pressure and are well-versed in negotiation and problem-solving.
About the Company:
Our mission at SOLE® Financial is to serve the underserved by providing quality financial tools and education for individual empowerment. The SOLE Visa® Payroll card allows un- and underbanked cardholders instant and free access to their hard-earned pay, while eliminating the expensive and time-consuming shackles of a paper payroll check.
