The Personnel Assistant will provide support to the firm's HRIS system including data entry and quality control related to attorney hires, terminations and other status changes and intake and distribution of related HR paperwork. They will assist with the firm's Associate, Counsel and Senior Counsel evaluation and compensation processes. They will support the firmwide fall on-campus interview program and summer associate program. This position will also provide administrative support of the Seattle office's fall recruiting process and summer associate program. They will support the new attorney orientation program for Seattle and Bellevue. The Personnel Assistant will assist in coordinating the firm's Associate and Counsel Committee work. As as well as, coordinate ad hoc firm meeting and events as necessary to support Attorney Recruiting & Retention team.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to express self effectively, both orally and in writing. As well as, the ability to establish effective working relationships throughout operational groups and all levels of firm personnel. The candidate will have excellent problem solving skills and be able to multi-task under time pressure with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to perform basic statistical analysis is a plus. Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office applications (Advanced excel skills). Experience with an HRIS, ViEval, ViRecruit, and data reporting tools or packages is beneficial.
This position requires a AA degree and 3-5 years of related administrative experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. BA degree preferred. Experience in a professional services environment required, legal experience beneficial.
