This position will perform a variety of administrative functions for the Trademark group in our Seattle office. As a member of a professional support staff team, this position will also promote and maintain the goodwill and reputation of the firm and maintain the highest level of professional conduct and confidentiality.
Primary Duties: Provide support to legal practice assistants, such as: time entry, billing, filing, maintaining notebooks, check and reimbursement requests, typing short correspondence, document revisions, printing, photocopying, scanning, and general administrative functions.
Required: Must have familiarity with standard office procedures in a law firm environment and the ability to establish effective working relationships within a team environment. Excellent grammar and ability to express self effectively, both orally and in writing; excellent proofreading skills and strong attention to detail are also essential. Must have the ability to accurately type 60 wpm and have knowledge of MS Office applications.
Education and Experience: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year previous administrative support experience.
Schedule: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Working additional hours beyond the normal schedule may be required to meet firm and/or client demands.
