About Us: The Mission of OFCN is to empower communities to cultivate joy in the lives of adults with cognitive challenges and nourish the well-being of family caregivers.
Respite for caregivers is a huge gap in dementia support. Old Friends Club’s innovative affiliate model establishes community-based, community-led social respite programs to answer this need. The Clubs provide enriching programs for those living with dementia and reliable, affordable respite for Family Caregivers.
Position Overview: We seek a Part-Time Marketing and Communications professional to join our team.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Marketing and communications experience in the non-profit or senior services sector required. Preference will be given to candidates with personal experience or other connection to our mission.
- Skills: Strong writing and editing skills, proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms, email marketing, website maintenance, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred, or demonstrated expertise.
- Attributes: Creative thinker, detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
